Testimonials
Head Start has supported my family through a lot. They helped encourage and build not only my children’s education but mine as well. Head Start gave me the means to get an education and a job. They have helped me become a better parent and person. Their contributions to our community are unmeasurable. My two older children who are now 7 and 9 still get excited when we drive by Head Start and speak fondly about their experience there. The meals they provide have helped to nurture my children’s food choices and helped to keep my children fed. The teacher and staff show a level of respect and care that should be valued and appreciated.
BBNA Head Start was one of the best things to ever happen to my family! We had recently gotten our twin boys diagnosed with developmental delay, each boy showing up with around a 50% delay. As three year olds, they were welcomed into Head Start and I can almost not find words to express the positive impact Head Start has had on them.
The special ‘man/dad’ dates have really improved my husband and boys relationships and has helped my husband to see how important that time with him is to the boys.
My children are enrolled with Kids’ Corps Head Start. I am excited to see them participate in an academic program that encourages the development of the whole person.
My boys have come a long way with their social skills, speech and academics. They know how to do a lot more than when they started and we have seen a huge improvement. They love going to school and we love all the family activities.
Head Start has really molded the lives of our four children and shaped the direction of raising them.
Teacher and teacher’s aide always knows how to calm my child and make them happy when their having a bad day. They always offer positive choices. I love all the experiences with learning social behavior and interacting with other children and adults, learning good mannerisms, taking responsibility with their weekly jobs.
My little lady didn’t seem to want to play with any kids when we went to parks and such, since Head Start, she initiates play, any and everywhere.
